What is Valley Made?
What started with a low key shop anniversary celebration, turned into a full blown event series.
In 2017, elSage threw a little party with friends and followers to commemorate being in their brick and mortar for one year. The event was such a success they decided to launch an entire series of markets the following year.
It was clear, Skagit Valley needed a place for artists, makers, and small businesses to show their work to the community. A regular, artist-focused event where people could shop local, handmade goods directly from the makers.
Valley Made Market has had an energy all its own from the very first show.
Now located at Riverwalk Park in the heart of Downtown Mount Vernon, WA. Valley Made Market is nestled right along the Skagit River with a paved walking trail, public restrooms, and multiple breweries and restaurants nearby. The market runs in this location one Sunday a month, April - September.
With 30 - 50 makers and a Scholarship booth at every market these dynamic events are sure to have something you love!
In addition to the outdoor series, the Valley Made team puts together a weekend long indie shopping extravaganza every December.
Each Valley Made event features vendors from all over Skagit Valley and the Pacific Northwest. Valley Made Market is curated with a diverse collection of handmade goods. Discover indie-made: jewelry, pottery, apothecary, apparel, art, leatherwork, and more!
Live music plays throughout the day and the community that gathers is pure gold. Meet new friends, connect with local businesses and artists, and enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Whether you’ve participated in an event, shopped the market, or are looking forward to attending your first show, we hope we’ll see you at a Valley Made Market this season! See the 2023 dates here.
